How to update Remix OS?

You can choose to automatically update Remix OS:

Go to 'Settings' > 'Upgrade' > 'More' > 'Upgrade settings' > Select 'Automatically install updates'

Please make sure you are connected to Ethernet or Wi-Fi. The OTA updater will only automatically download and update if you are connected to the Internet.

OR manually update Remix OS:

Go to 'Settings' > 'Update'. Then download and install the update.

I've filed a support ticket about this but have yet to hear back. I keep being presented an update for the Ultra Tablet for 2015100901 but it refuses to download manually or install automatically. What can I do?

Also, when can we expect Remix OS 2.0 on the tablet????

Also, the link to register r for your forums is broken.... https://forum.jide.com/index.php?p=/entry/register&Target=categories%2F osx updates generates "Page Not Found"

Srijith Jayakumar try entering the recovery and doing a manual reset,,,connect your keyboard and wait for the option to press F2 when you power your Mini to enter ther revocet then navigate to the factory reset option...i think you should be it should be fine afterward then you might want to try updating your system again

@Jesse “JESSEFL8” Afolabi - Thanks for the suggestion.
I have never plugged in keyboard before. Will it recognize my wireless keyboard if I plug-in now ?

Srijith Jayakumar you wanna use a USB keyboard...wireless keyboard will not work in this case....as you'd have to put boot into the OS and put your Bluetooth on to use any wireless device effectively..

No Luck. Connected a wired USB Keyboard. Pressing F2 didn't take me to the recovery screen. The keyborad how ever works after connecting to Remix. CapsLock/Scroll Lock lights are ON after pressing it.
Logged a ticket with support - Request #6352. They acknowledge this as a known issue and they are working on a fix which will be released in their next update.
Any other workaround to force rest it manually ?

hey Srijith Jayakumar, there's a small hole close to the 3.5mm headphone jack ...i believe its a manul reset button and not a microphone as the Mini does not have an inbuilt mic...try using a pin to or needle into the hole and press for some 10 seconds while the device is on....hopefully it should be fine

When I go to the update page it says I am up to date, but its on the October 24th, 2015 build. Netflix does not work on this build, and that makes me angry. Please help!

I second Robert's question: How to update if Update item is missing from Settings? I have the latest version available after Google apps removal, namely 2.0.402.

Samuil the update appeared on mine after I made the comment above it is located on the fifth line below the line that has Security as the first item. I am not sure if I scrolled down to it or it appeared after I relogged. I hope that helps.

I did not find an update option within Settings.  However there is a System Update utility that is installed with Remix OS where you can set it to automatically update.

It would be nice if I could update my Tronsmart Draco Telos to the current version, but I think Tronsmart has dropped the ball on this hardware, a very nice Android box, using the AllWinner A80 SOC.  At least the Remix OS 1.0 runs very well on this.

I have 3.0 installed under VirtualBox with the June level security patch. As others have mentioned, I cannot see any Update option under Settings. Somebody mentioned it's the fifth below Security, but I have nothing there, just the next group of settings.
