    Sound update:

I can turn on "Do not disturb", turn volume down with the sound buttons on the keyboard, AND use the volume button on the side of the Ultratablet to verify sound is turned off using all the possible ways and STILL get notification sounds such as screen shot, email, etc. When I open the sound setting with ALL typical methods of turning volume down/off I notice the only volume being controlled by all of the above methods is the "notification" level. The "media, etc." volume level is not impacted. I must manually turn the slider down for all sounds to be muted.

Thought I'd share what I've observed since either no one else is experiencing this, or doesn't care :)   When I am using this in work meetings it IS important to me. The below screen shot with screen confirmations the sound is off and "do not disturb" active:

Along the same line of thought. I've read the other posts concerned with Miracast. I still haven't figured that one out yet either, but am currently lugging around my Dell Windows tablet for presentations since Miracast isn't stable and haven't heard, or seen, any support or concern.

Good point. No, I did not select the do not disturb in the Notification panel. I made an assumption that pressing the F1/mute button would turn sound off. I did try the do not disturb button after your post. It works. However, even with do not disturb turned off, my keyboard volume buttons (F1-F3)  and the volume buttons on the side of the tablet display the volume level in the onscreen display, but when I check the volume icon on the task bar, it does not reflect what the keyboard button notification shows as the level.  I can use the keyboard buttons to bring audio to the top level, but the speaker icon will stay at minimum level, or whatever level I set it manually by sliding it onscreen.

So the volume buttons on both keyboard and tablet do not control the volume level in the task bar.

@Heavytc - the previous release was a test release that wasn't available for all Ultratablet users to download and use. This one is the public release to all Ultratablet users.

I hope this clears it up!

I didn't understand your question at first....if you were asking where the Miracast option went, I'd like to know as well! I need to be able to present with my ultratablet.

REMIX OS 2.0.302 ......I need the miracast. I have tried some apps in google play,  neither one could connect to my smart TV.  Some apps could go as far as LOADING.... but suddenly terminate then display the TV mode again.  THe podcast has no problem in youtube but I DONT NEED THE YOUTUBE.  I NEED THE PDF/EXCEL/WORD docs to be displayed on the TV for presentation.  This is the reason why remix ultratable was prefered over other brands because its capable of multitasking.

Wifi is not broken. Just tell your router to stop switching to DFS channels.

I'm beginning to feel as though I wasted $300 on my Ultratablet. The website claimed it was 100% Android App compatible, but the mobile app for my financial institution doesn't load correctly but does on my phone as well as my 2 other Android tablets.

I realize leaving comments on this page is not the same thing as instant messaging, but receiving SOME sort of acknowledgment from Jide (within a reasonable time frame) would be nice. I NEED to be able Miracast since there isn't a video out port.

The tablet has some nice features, but  things such as volume controls not functioning properly and  wireless display not being supported really disappoints me. Yes they're a start-up company, yes they are small, yes it is a custom OS, but I made a purchase based on claims stated on their website. I took a risk purchasing the Ultratablet and had high hopes. Unfortunately I regret my purchase. I'm not sure what I'll purchase next, but I love Android and hoped this would fit the bill.

The Google cast doesn't mirror from the tablet so don't bother downloading it.

After upgrading to 2.0 and the updates, everything seems to be working well with exception of volume control. I usually use the F1 key to mute all sound. Today I was in a meeting and I an email notification announced itself to all in the room. I pressed F1 and noticed my volume turned back on (according to the screen notification). I press F1 again and receive the muted screen notification only to have another alert announce itself. I then checked the task bar and noticed my volume level was at full volume. The short of it all: the keyboard volume control does NOT control the Ultratablet system volume.

OTA build 5.1.1-B2016040701 is out. What are the changes, @Jide Team, and Remix OS 2.0 has been out for awhile for the tablet. I am puzzle by your post.

What happen to the app "Power Manager", can't find it.

Same here. I need it to miracast. I've tried 3 different miracast devices and it will connect, then terminate the connection. I can get YouTube on a Roku stick, but I need to be able to cast PowerPoint and Word documents. Hope this is fixed soon, otherwise I'll have to switch back to my awful Dell Windows tablet for meetings.

Did you select do not disturb in the Notification ( for right hand side of toolbar)? An icon that looks like a bell in the Notification window.

5GHz WiFi and Miracast are both missing since 2.0 was introduced a while ago now. This was reported on the day of the upgrade. So far, no response or fix.

When can we expect to get these two important features back?

    Many thanks.

Hadn't checked on 5GHz since the upgrade to 2.0. Just checked, and it's there. Yay!

Miracast? Not so much. Really need that back.

I have had minimal success casting images and video,  but what I really need is the ability to cast Word Documents and PowerPoint.
